0 for 3 on 3/14; Yet Another Delta Flight Issue Arises

On Mar. 14, Delta flight DAL1718 was taxiing out from the gate at Syracuse airport (SYR) for its daily hop to LaGuardia (LGA) when the nose gear exited the taxiway. The airport had been hit with a winter snow storm causing delays across the board, contributing to the taxiway excursion. No injuries were reported to the 5 crew and 58 passengers aboard. Passengers were taken back to the terminal via bus & rebooked on other flights. The flight crew stayed with the aircraft to assist with the repositioning efforts.
