Baggage Handler Dies After Being Sucked Into Running Engine

On Dec. 31, a baggage handler at Montgomery Regional (MGM) was killed after being sucked into an American Airlines E175 engine, operated by Envoy. The incident occurred around 3pm local time Dec. 31, closing the airport until 8:30pm local Saturday, Jan 1. Full details have not been released at this time, but the FAA & NTSB will be investigating.
