Boeing 737-300 Crashes While Firefighting In Australia
On Feb. 6, Tanker 139, a Coulson Aviation Boeing 737-300, was fighting fires in Australia and had just dropped its fire retardant payload when it crashed. The 737 was on its third firefighting mission of the day when the crash occurred. Miraculously, both pilots survived with minor injuries. The same can't be said for the plane, however, as it's likely a total loss. The cause of the crash has not yet been announced.
