On Jan. 22, a flydubai Boeing 737 MAX 8 departed Warsaw, Poland (WAW) bound for Dubai Intl (DXB) when it declared an emergency and diverted to Krakow, Poland. The flight entered a hold to burn off remaining fuel, and went on to land safely. The crew asked for an immediate evacuation once on the ground in Krakow. The airport remained closed for several hours after landing.
