The acquisition marks a big step for Flexjet, now making Flexjet the only private aviation fleet provider to offer in-house maintenance, repairs, and overhaul capabilities. The maintenance integration comes after Flexjet saw a 40% increase in fleet size during 2022, increasing maintenance demand significantly. The acquisition bolsters Flexjet's maintenance facility footprint to 650,000 total sqft. over 6 different states and 7 different locations. The charter company says it's also planning to hire 200 technicians in addition to the technicians added from the acquisition.
