On Mar. 1, Lufthansa flight LH469 departed Austin, TX (AUS) and was enroute to Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) when it encountered severe turbulence over Tennessee. The turbulence hit during dinner service, sending passengers & meals flying. The flight diverted to Dulles (IAD) and continued its travels the next day. Early reports say the incident sent 7 to the hospital.
