Mesa Launches Direct-Entry Captain Route to United

With United taking a 10% in Mesa Airlines, it's paying dividends for pilots within Mesa's organization, as well as for those looking to flow directly to United. The new direct-entry route has opened the door for qualified pilots to jump straight to United, with the route only requiring a minimum of 1,000 Part 121 qualifying experience. The benefits package for those who qualify is rather appealing as well; $110,000 sign-on bonus paid out after training, a longevity match for pilots with 121/135 experience, and pay ranging from $150-215/hour for captains at Mesa prior to jumping ship to United.
