On Feb. 24, Mesa Airlines flight 5826 operating on a CRJ-900 was cleared to land on Runway 33 and was ~1.3 miles from the runway when the controller cleared a SkyWest E175 for departure ahead of them. Mesa initiated a go-around and was given a vector away from the departing E175. The aircraft did get close enough to each other during the ordeal to set off an alert in the CRJ-900's flight deck. The FAA has said they'll be investigating the incident. '
