Near Miss at JFK Under Investigation

Around 9pm Friday, Jan. 13, a Delta 737 aborted its takeoff roll as an American 777 taxied across the active runway. The Delta flight stopped within 1,000ft of the 777, with no injuries reported to either aircrafts occupants. The FAA has launched an investigation into the incident. The Delta flight, which was bound for Santo Domingo, DR (SDQ) taxied back to the gate and didn't depart until Saturday morning due to :staffing issues." The American flight, bound for London Heathrow (LHR) departed on time without further incident. The NTSB hasn't announced if it will join the investigation at this time. Video below!
