The lack/shortage of Jet-A has affected several countries so far, previously being New Zealand, now Papua New Guinea. Air traffic has slid to a halt (ha) due to "a dispute with the central bank." This means PNG can't access U.S. dollars to buy Jet-A from the international market. Air Niugini has been forced to cancel all domestic flights until fuel deliveries resume, and has warned that its international routes may be paused until it can purchase fuel again.
