PSA CRJ-900 Slides Off Taxiway Into Snow Bank

On Jan. 23, a PSA Airlines CRJ-900 departed Philadelphia (PHL) and had landed at Portland, ME (PWM) when it slid off the taxiway and into the snow. The main landing gear stayed on the taxiway fortunately, although the runway did close due to the incident. All 63 people on board were removed from the aircraft via buses with no injuries reported. Snowy taxiway conditions played a factor in the taxiway excursion.
