Ryanair Flight Threatened with Bomb, Escorted By F-16's

On Jan. 22, a Ryanair flight operated by Buzz departed Poland 2 hours late, and was enroute when a possible bomb threat was announced. The flight landed safely in Athens, Greece after being escorted by 2 Hellenic Air Force F-16s. The plane and passengers were searched, and no bomb was found. No comments have been made by the airline or airport.
