Very Last 747 Draws Crown in Sky as Final Farewell

On Feb. 4, the final 747 ever departed the Boeing facility in Everett, Washington in its Atlas Airlines paint scheme. The pilots drew an impressive crown in the sky, with the numbers 747 in the middle as a tribute to the 54-year production run of the jumbo jet. The drawing took almost two and a half hours to draw, and covered a good portion of Washington state. After the artistic delay, the crew carried on to Cincinnati, OH where Atlas has a hub.
